
Miss Farnie read Horton Hatches an Egg this morning to the class! The kids loved it. It was another long one but I was impressed with the kids' intent listening skills! We made elephant ears using the printable below and sentence strips.

Then in the afternoon, we read Yertle the Turtle. We made some paper plate Yertles! The kids had fun making them. The pieces we used are from here.
I am probably more excited than the kids about his birthday tomorrow but they are pretty excited too!
