This morning we read Oh, The Places You'll Go by Dr. Seuss! Again, the kids were so in to the book! After we reading we talked about how someday they will see many new places and meet new people! One student told me he didn't have to wait until he grew up to see new places because he would be traveling over Spring Break!
While they ate snack, they colored these hot air balloons (like the one in the book) and we strung on a "basket" with their picture inside!
I love these!
On the basket of each one we added a little tag that said "Oh the places [student's name] will go!
Saw this little note on Mrs. Kimbrell's Blog yesterday and thought it was super cute. She gives these to her students at the end of the year!
